This is a quick and simple dessert I whipped up for a late night sweet craving.
Pierogis are a traditional Polish dumpling typically filled with potatoes. This was my first time making them on my own. They turned out pretty well. I used a basic potato filling, the potato filling can also be flavored with onions and/or cheese. I only used about 1/2 of my potato filling - so I would only use 1/2 pound of potatoes for about a dozen pierogis using the dough recipe below.
