I love using fruit for desserts and snacks whenever possible. Simply adding a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey can jazz up your fruit to turn it into something special.
I love popcorn any way! Spicy, Sweet, Plain - It's delicious, fluffy, and crunchy.
Above is my homemade stove top kettle corn. I love kettle corn but sometimes it can be a little too much "candified" to have regularly. I like to make my kettle corn with about 1/3 the sugar in most kettle corns, and a sprinkle of cinnamon to add extra flavor. I grew up eating popcorn made on the stove so microwave popcorn never quite cuts it. In addition to improved flavor, making your own popcorn cuts bake on extra salt and artificial flavors and colors. Popcorn is a whole grain. 2 cups of oil-popped popcorn has about 120 calories, 3 grams of fiber, and 2 grams of protein. |
